Ok, i have seen some amazing sights in my days, from Emperor penguins in Antarctica to breeching humpback whales in the fjords of Alaska, and I have to say that Wing’s Castle is up there in my top 10. The Castle in Millbrook, NY, built piece by piece by one man, Peter Wing, over the span if 40 years is a true architectural marvel. And most everything used to build it was reclaimed or recycled by the Vietnam vet. He even blew up a railroad bridge to build some of the foundation. This man has been totally green before it was chic, or before we were even calling it “green”. And lucky for you, he will open up a one room B & B so you can enjoy its splendor or yourself!
